Gay, Black Veteran Launches Historic Bid for Orange County Commission
Aaron is an Army veteran and president of the Framily Support Network. He is running for Orange County Commission District 7. If he wins, he would be the first openly gay person elected to the commission. His plan covers affordable housing, better transit, flood protection, and public safety led by the community.

Housing NOW! Rally Protests Ban on Public Sleeping, Camping in Florida
Aaron and the Framily Support Network held a rally at Orlando's Gaston Edwards Park. It was part of a national day of action. They spoke out against more than 150 laws that let police arrest homeless people for sleeping or camping in public. They called for truly affordable housing for the lowest-income renters.
